    In the practical "Operating System Development", we take a look at our fork of the xv6 Operating System and add several optimizations and extensions, e.g., the mmap() system call. The practical contains mostly C and C++ development (although no prior C++ knowledge is assumed or required), and you will be developing both kernel and user applications.
